# 501 - Lighthouses of Portugal

 

Many thanks to my friend Pedro from Portugal for this cover.

He used two stamps from the series " Centenary of the Portuguese Lighthouse Authority" issued on 23rd May 2024 on this cover. The stamps feature Cabo da Roca Lighthouse on a matching cover which Pedro was able to buy during one of his walks.

# 500 - Lighthouses of Taiwan

 

Today I am happy to show cover # 500. I started this blog way back in February 2009. Ever since I have had several friends from around the world contributing to this blog. Thank you very much.

On this cover are three of the five stamps from Taiwan issued on 3rd November 2020. From left to right are Chiutzu Lighthouse, Peiting Lighthouse and Kuosheng Lighthouse.

# 499 - Lighthouses of Germany

 

This is the second cover from Ulf Gebhard (the first being cover no 498). On this cover the First Day Cancelations are from Bonn. The stamp feature Alte Weser Lighthouse.

Ulf tells me that this will be the last issue of the German Longhouses stamp series which commenced in 2004.
