The two stamps on this cover feature (left) Friedricsort Lighthouse (stamp issued on 07.07.2022) and Helgoland Lighthouse (stamp issued on 06.07.2023)

# 475 - Lighthouses of Estonia

 

On this cover is one of two stamps of the Estonia Lighthouses issue of 2023. The stamp featured is Ansekula Lighthouse. The other stamp on this issue is Lou Lighthouse.

Both stamps were issued on 7th September 2023.

# 474 - Lighthouses of Estonia

 

On this cover featured are two stamps of Narva - Joesuu Lighthouse in Estonia. The stamp was issued on 27th October 2022.

I thank Juri Tomson an ebay seller based in Estonia who used these stamps on the cover for a purchase I made from his ebay store. This came as a surprise for me. So did the next post # 475. 

# 473 - Lighthouses of India

 

This cover is the MS of Lighthouses of India issued on 23rd December 2012. The two stamps on the MS feature Alleppey Lighthouse on the left and Mahabalipuram Lighthouse on the right,

# 472 - Lighthouses of Greece

 

The stamp on the extreme right of this cover features Korakas Lighthouse. This is one of five stamps featuring Lighthouses of Grece issued on 21st August 2009.

I received this cover through the LCC. 

# 471 - Lighthouses of Canada

 

Thanks to Sam Assad for this cover. Sam at my request used these stamps on this cover when I ordered some items from his ebay store. I do recommend Sam's store.

The stamps feature (top row) - Sisters Islets Lighthouse & Pelee Passage Lighthouse. (bottom row) - Haut fond Prince Lighthouse and Rose Blanche Lighthouse.

The 4 stamps were issued on 3rd October1985

# 470 - Lighthouses of Taiwan

The stamp on the right feature Taiping Island Lighthouse in the South China Sea. This stamp is one of five stamps on the Series Lighthouses of Taiwan (2020) issued on 23rd November 2020.

# 469 - Lighthouses of France on Sri Lanka stamp.

 

This stamp was issued by Sri Lanka Post on 27.10.2023 is one of two stamps issued to commemorate  75th Anniversary of Diplomatic Relation between Sri Lanka & France. The other stamp features the famous Sigriya Rock in Sri Lanka.

Thanks to my friend Jaap from Netherlands, I was informed that this stamp features Mount Saint  Michel which is a famous fortified abbey  in France, and that a lighthouse existed there  between 1881 - 1904.

I prepared the cover my self and self posted.

# 468 - Lighthouses of Poland.

 

This cover feature two stamps namely Jastarnia Lighthouse (left) and Swinoujscie Lighthouse (Right). Both stamps were issued on 19th June 2015 along with four other stamps as part of Polish Lighthouses Series of 2015.

The special cancel you see on the cover is to commemorate the International Lighthouses Day established in 2003. It Is usually celebrated on the third Sunday of August every year. This year it was celebrated on 20th August.
