Thanks to my friend Reto from Switzerland for sending me this cover.

 The two stamps feature Cayeux-sur-Mer Lighthouse (left) and Creac'h Lighthouse. Both stamps are from the french issue of 2020. Stamps were issued on 28th August 2020.

 It is indeed a pleasure to receive mail during these troubled times. We can still have hope that the post is delivering mail even though it took about three weeks for the cover to travel from France to Sri Lanka.

 I hope all of your are taking care of your selves. 

 

 

 

# 430 - Lighthouses of Great Britain

 

The stamp on this cover is Beachy Head Lighthouse. This stamp was issued on 14th June 1985.

# 429 - Lighthouses of Sri Lanka

 

The stamp on this cover feature Dondra Head Lighthouse, the Southern most point of Sri Lanka. I thank the Post Master of Dondra Head (Devinuwara) for returning the cover back to me. He was good enough to place a special date stamp which is available only for letters posted from the post box placed at the location of the lighthouse.

This stamp was issued on 13th September 2017.

# 428 - Lighthouses of Sri Lanka

 

 

 

The stamp on this cover is the Point Pedro Lighthouse, the Northern most point of Sri Lanka. I thank the Post Master of the Point Pedro Post Office for returning this cover to me posted from Point Pedro.

The stamp was issued by Sri Lanka Post on 26th November 2018.

# 424 - Lighthouses of France

I hope all of you my friends, readers of this blog have stayed safe and healthy during these unprecedented times. With the new "normal" now in place the post has gradually started delivering mail, and I am happy to be uploading posts again.

On this cover you will see two out of the twelve stamps issued on 19.08.2019 in the form of a booklet titled "Famous Lighthouses of the French Coast". The two stamps featured are Cape Bear (Left) and Lavezzi (Right) Lighthouses.

# 423 - Lighthouses of Taiwan

Three of the four stamps issued on 20th November 2019 is shown on the cover. From L - R: Tungting Tao Lighthouse,  Taichung Port Lighthouse and Tamsui Port Lighthouse. The missing fourth stamp is Keelung Lighthouse. You can see a image of the missing stamp in my post # 421 of this blog.
