This cover is the MS of Lighthouses of India issued on 23rd December 2012. The two stamps on the MS feature Alleppey Lighthouse on the left and Mahabalipuram Lighthouse on the right,

The two Lighthouses featured on the miniature sheet are Alappuzha and Mahabalipuram (also on the stamp to the right).

The two stamps were issued on 23.12.2012.

A great way to end 2012. Another jewel in to my collection. Many thanks to my friend R. Kasinath from India for this great cover. He was kind enough to post the cover with the pictorial  Cancellation Postmark of the Tiruchirapalli Philatelic Bureau . The stamps feature Alleppey Lighthouse (Left) and Mahabalipuram Lighthouse (Right). India Post issued the stamps on 23.12.2012.

# 188 - Lighthouses of India.

Many thanks to my friend R.Kasinath from Tamil Nadu, India for sending me this cover. The stamp on the right features the Fort Arguada Old Lighthouse in Goa, India. India Post issued this stamp on 19.12.2011 to mark the Golden Jubilee of the liberation of Goa from Portugal.

# 024 - Lighthouses of India

Many thanks to Kasinath for sending me this cover. It is the FDC of the Minicoy Lighthouse issued on 02.02.1985. Kasinath fixed additional stamps on the reverse of the cover and posted the cover to me. I have been looking for a cover with this stamp for so long and now my efforts have paid dividends.
