Many thanks to my friend Carlos from Argentina for this cover. The stamp on the bottom right is the Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse (also known as the Lighthouse at the End of the World) in Argentina. The stamp was issued on 12.02.2010.

# 142 - Lighthouses of Argentina & Portugal.

This is not a FDC, even though a this souvenior sheet featuring Querandi Lighthouse, Argentina and Santa Marta Lighthouses of Portugal is attached to a FDC. The stamps were originally issued on 25.09.2010 by Correo Argentino. However, Correo Argentino decided to re -issue the stamps on 23.10.2010 because they ran out of souvenior sheets with the first release. Many thanks to Agustin Goday my friend from Argentina for sending me this cover.

# 133 - Lighthouses of Argentina & Portugal.

Many thanks to my friend Viviana from Argentina for this jewel of a cover. It is a real posted FDC. The souvenior sheet on the cover feature two stamps issued on 27.09.2010 by Correo Arentino on the occasion of Portugal 2010 World Philatelic Exhibition. The two lighthouses are Querandi Lighthouse, Argentina (L) and Santa Marta Lighthouse, Portugal (R).

# 123 - Lighthouses of Argentina.

Many thanks to Carlos from Argentina for yet another beautiful cover. One of the stamps (3rd from left) feature Cape Virgenes Lighthouse. This stamp along with the other three stamps featured on the cover was issued in 2004 to mark the 125th Anniversary of the Naval Hydrographic Service which maintains the lighthouses in Argentina.

The second cover that I received today from Viviana from Argentina. The stamps feature Lighthouses of Argentina Series II issued in 1997. Top L-R: San Juan de Salvamento and Punta Delgada and Bottom L-R: GaboVirgenes and Isla Pinguino Lighthouses can be seen on the stamps. This is also a jewel in my collection. Thanks Viviana for your thought of sending me two rare covers.

Many thanks to Carlos Silvano (http://www.newlhstamps.blogspot.com) from Argentina for sending me this cover with a stamp issued on 12.02.2010 featuring the Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse in Argentina. Les Eclaireurs is the French term for "Enlighteners" or "Scouts".

# 080 - Lighthouses of Argentina

This is another jewel in my collection. Thanks so much to Carlo Silvano for this beautiful cover with the miniature sheet featuring 4 stamps from the series "Faros Argentinos III" (Lighthouses of Argentina - Series 3). The lighthouses featured on the stamps are top (L - R) : 1ero de Mayo, and An0 Nuevo & bottom (L-R) : El Rincon and Recalada a Bahia Blanca.. The stamps were issued in March 2006.

# 016 - Lighthouses of France

Another cover (cover no 2) which has been sent by Daniel. Thanks for your help with my collection. On the cover (Right) is the D'Ouistreham lighthouse, France situated in Normandy and on the (left) the stamp featuring the San Juan de Salvamento known as the "Lighthouse at the end of the world" in Argentina and a replica of same built at Pointe des Minimes at the entrance to La Rochelle. This stamp (on the left) was issued by La Poste on 01.01.2000 to mark the dawn of the millennium.
