On 5th August 1992, Canada issued a series of definitive stamps titled "Edible Berries". One of these stamps is featured on the left. The lighthouse shown on the stamp is a stylized lighthouse.

Thanks to Glenn from Canada for sending me this post card. I can confirm that mail between Canada and Sri Lanka is working.

One of the stamps feature Cape Forchu Lighthouse. This lighthouse no longer exists as it was demolished in 1961. This is one of five stamps issued by Canada Post on 9th June 2022 on the theme travel posters.

# 225 - Lighthouses of Canada.

Many thanks to my friend Onkar from Canada for this cover. The two stamps with lighthouses are from the Canadian definitive series issued on 27.12.2007. The stamp on the left is Pachena Point Lighthouse and on the right is Cap Des Rosiers Lighthouse. It should be noted here that the original stamp of the Pachena Point Lighthouse issued on 27.12.2012 had a mistake and was withdrawn. The stamp was subsequently re issued with the correct image. The stamp you see on the cover is the correct one.

Courtesy Onkar from Canada I received this cover which shows the Cape Jourimain lighthouse near the Confederation Bridge linking New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island. The lighthouse was discontinued in 1997 after the bridge was built, but continues to remind of the area's maritime heritage. The set of se-tenent stamps was issued on 31.05.2007 by Canada Post.

Another cover from Onkar. The cover features the four stamps issued on 21.09.1984 by Canada Post on the occasion 250th anniversary of the completion of Louisbourg, the first Canadian lighthouse. The cover features top row L-R: Gibraltar Point and Ile Verte and bottom row L-R: Fisgard and Louisbourg Lighthouses. The issue is titled "Oldes Lighthouses of Canada"

Another cover from Onkar from Canada who continues to help me with my collection. He took trouble to find these 4 stamps issued on 03.10.1985 titled Modern Lighthouses of Canada. The stamps feature - Top L - R: Pelee Passage, Sister Islets and Bottom L - R: Haut - fond Prince, Rose Blanche Lighthouses. I am encouraged when my collection grows with covers featuring issues from older years. This shows that vivews appreciate my work.

Thanks Onkar for this very nice cover which feature the 2007 issue.
Though the stamps are from the 2007 issue, the stamp on the extreme right is the corrected image of Pechena Point Lighthouse which was issued in 2008. The original issue was on 27.12.2007.
