Best Wishes for 2019

364 days of 2018 has gone by so quickly. Time flies and it was like yesterday that we welcomed 2018. I thank you all  readers of this blog, friends who contributed  in many ways to keep this blog alive and others who contributed with information. Let's welcome 2019  and let these magnificent guiding lights show us the way as they have been doing for centuries in the new year. I have enjoyed every moment keeping this blog alive and with your help hope to do so in 2019. HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU ALL.

Good news to stamps collectors of Lighthouses.

Sri Lanka Post is finalising the issue of 4 stamps during the month of November 2018 to release 4 stamps featuring Sri Lankan Lighthouses. The issue consist of 4 stamps and 4 miniature sheets. Await further details soon.

The date of issue will be 26th November 2018.

So please do not be disappointed when I do not publish the post cards on this blog. I appreciate all the trouble you all have taken. I am looking forward to receiving all those nice post cards with lighthouses views.
