This stamp was issued by Sri Lanka Post on 27.10.2023 is one of two stamps issued to commemorate 75th Anniversary of Diplomatic Relation between Sri Lanka & France. The other stamp features the famous Sigriya Rock in Sri Lanka.
Thanks to my friend Jaap from Netherlands, I was informed that this stamp features Mount Saint Michel which is a famous fortified abbey in France, and that a lighthouse existed there between 1881 - 1904.
