# 062 - Lighthouses of Latvia

Thank you very much Oleg for this cover which feature the Liepajas Lighthouse on the stamp. The stamp was issued on 05.11.2009 by Latvijas Pasts (Post Latvia) as a part of their ongoing lighthouses stamps series. Further details on http://www.pasts.lv

Unfortunately this is a good example of how the post office can destroy a stamp with a bad machine cancellation. Friends please try and get the post office to use a hand cancellation where ever possible. I know it can be dificult at times. Thanks for your understanding.

# 061 - Lighthouses of Germany

Received through Postcrossing (DE 461351) from Wilhelm Janssen who lives in Germany. Thank you very much. Norderney Lighthouse is featured on this stamp which was issued on 02.07.2009. Wilhelm was kind enough to send this postcard where on the reverse the Lighthouse of Pilsum is featured.

Thank you very much Janek for another wonderful cover. On this cover you can see L-R: stamps issued on 20.01.1999 (Vilsandi Lighthouse) and on 24.01.2008 (Mehikoorma Lighthouse).

# 059 - Lighthouses of Spain

Thank Jose Luis for this cover which features 3 stamps from the Spanish issue titled "FAROS 2008" (Lighthouses 2008). On the cover you can see the stamps featuring from L-R: Silleiro,
Torredembarra and Punta de la Orchilla lighthouses. The stamps were issued on 02.09.2008. Cover # 55 feature the other 3 stamps of this issue.

Another cover which I received today featuring the Lighthouses 2009 issue of Croatia. This time the cover is from Zeljko. Thank you very much Zeljko for the mint stamps as well. On the cover you see L-R: Strazica, Gruica and Voscica lighthouses. The stamps were issued on 11.09.2009.

Another cover from Otto Lehis. Many thanks for your continues support. This cover features two Estonian lighthouses L -R: Ruhnu Lighthouse issued on 11.02.1997 and Hara Lighthouse issued on 24.09.2009.

# 055 - Lighthouses of Spain

On this cover you can see three of the six stamps issued on 02.09.2008 by the Spanish Postal authorities titled "Faros 2008". From L - R: the stamps feature the lighthouses at Cap Babaria, Irta and Punta Pechiguera.
